This is really good HowlingReaches! I love the way you have experimented with the shading to make it look realistic. The hoofprints are fabulous and they are in the right proportion with his feet, a hard thing to do! The eye looks realistic, and you got the mane and tail right. I know it is like this in the reference picture but the position is quite strange. He has a lack of shadow and, correct me if I'm wrong, he seems to have walked into the arena through the fence, unless there is a gate there. I like the muscle shading although the 'breast' looks quite strange. Overall, very good job!
